Graphite is one of the less frequently mentioned raw materials for the implementation of transportation transition and electromobility. Different types of graphite are used as anode material for lithium-ion batteries. The “Graphite Street” installation contains a series of drawings and prints made using Karipol 302, a GDR-standard car care product. The motifs include personalized floor plans of houses (or areas). The street leads through. It is located in Bitterfeld and is named after the raw material. It leads not only into the past, but also into the future, where the path to modernity is still paved with mining products.
